Are you a passionate photographer? Do you dream of a creative career? Our photography courses are hands-on and practical. Focusing on project work, you'll develop your personal style while building knowledge and skills essential to compete in the world of photography.

The College offers photography at level 3 and degree-level: our BA (Hons) is validated by Bournemouth University, and we have recently launched a new Higher National Diploma in Photography.

On the level 3 course, you’ll cover a diverse range of subjects including darkroom skills and studio techniques, portraiture, lighting and studio set-up, location photography, advertising and layout design, digital work and editing and essential digital photography processes that are vital for a career in today’s creative industries.

The course is taught using state-of-the art Mac facilities, and you’ll work in fully equipped studios with access to a range of industry-standard equipment and traditional professional cameras. This course is ideal if you are keen to develop traditional silver-based and digital photographic skills, and makes the perfect foundation for studying photography at university.
