Are you a compassionate person interested in making a real difference in the lives of others? If you are interested in a career in health and/or social care, our courses will equip you with the knowledge and skills to start a fulfilling career in the health and social care sector.
You’ll learn the underpinning care values and an understanding of different life stages, understanding how to support individuals and families throughout these stages. Our lecturers are subject specialists with years of experience in the sector, able to give you a real insight into the challenges and rewards of a career in health and social care.
An annual overseas trip gives our students experience of health and social care in different countries, with recent trips including Lisbon, Budapest, Prague and Amsterdam.
Our students also run an Aspirations week to explore and showcase different careers within the sector, and throughout the course you’ll build a clearer picture of the diverse career opportunities in health and social care. A mandatory work placement will give you real experience of a health and care setting.
The full diploma is an A-Level equivalent course, giving you the UCAS points necessary to progress into higher education or the experience and knowledge to start seeking employment.
