If you’re creative and passionate about fashion and textiles, this course will allow you to develop your personal work and build the skills and understanding to enter this dynamic and competitive industry.

Our courses, taught at our Trowbridge and Salisbury campuses, are ideal if you’re looking to apply for junior positions within the fasion and textiles industry or progress onto higher education at university.

You’ll learn how to research and develop design ideas, cut commercial patterns and make your individual designs using industrial machines. You’ll learn about fabric and how to develop surface textile designs, as well as other techniques associated with textile design. You’ll learn how to draw a well-proportioned fashion figure, and to illustrate your design ideas as well as producing technical drawings of your designs using CAD (computer aided design).

Our dedicated classrooms are fully equipped with sewing machines, patterns and materials to provide you with the best tools for learning and beginning a demanding and passion-driven career within the fashion industry.

After completing the level 3 course, you’ll be able to progress onto our highly-regarded Art & Design Foundation course, which has seen our students go onto prestigious university including Reading and Central St. Martins, which taught the likes of Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney.
