University Level Courses

We offer courses in Criminology and Law (level 3) and a HND in Crime and Criminal Justice at university level.

The Level 3 course explores the criminal justice system, from the psychology of crime to the applications of law, power and punishment. It combines criminology, law and public services, allowing you to investigate, interrogate and analyse criminals and the system that strives to rehabilitate offenders and protect the public. You will build the knowledge and skills to enter into many aspects of the criminal justice system, from policing and investigation to law and government, or to study higher.

Our HND in Crime and Criminal Justice will give you the opportunity to explore the purpose and framework of the criminal justice system and the public services that work within this area. You will be encouraged to develop your critical thinking and analytical skills, engage in trips (including to prisons and courts) and benefit from guest speakers and to partake in work experience within your chosen field.
