Residential Bursaries

Each year, the College holds funds to provide Residential Bursaries and discretionary financial support for students from low-income households. The Residential Bursary is in place to help low-income families with the cost of Accommodation while attending a full-time course.

Students studying on an eligible Land-based or Motorsport course may be eligible for a means-tested Residential Bursary to help with accommodation costs at our Lackham campus.

How do I know if I am eligible?

Eligibility for the residential bursary is based on the combined annual income of all parent/guardians/partners (including step-parents, parent’s partners and grandparents). The student also needs to be attending an eligible course and having to reside on campus because the daily travel time is deemed unreasonable or where the cost of this would be prohibitively expensive.

How do I apply for a residential bursary?

Applications will only be considered if you have been offered a place on a full-time course at the College and is 16 years of age or over and living on campus in order to attend their course.

Please note, students enrolled on Higher Education (university level) courses cannot apply for a Residential Bursary.

Full details and application forms will be available in June. If you wish us to email you the details when they become available, please send the student name, date of birth, course applied for and campus to bursaries@wiltshire.ac.uk
